REPAIR & REFINISHING
Besides stripping, staining, color matching & refinishing, we do anything from simple to complicated repairs.
This includes basic gluing, re-veneering, structural reinforcement, lathe work, wood carving, & stain removal. If you have an issue, we'll give our best effort to fix it in a satisfactory and professional manner. We can also reproduce missing parts!
SEAT
WEAVING
We offer seat weaving. We do both hand caning and machine woven cane, as well as fiber rush, flat reed, Danish cord and wicker repair.
UPHOLSTERY
We start with frame repair, so we can provide a sound foundation for re-upholstery. We can retie the springs, if necessary, and then recover the item with your choice of fabric. Fabric books are available at our shop. Since the bulk of what we do is antique furniture we try to carry a selection of period appropriate fabrics that will suit your project.
